Duron's Journey

The purpose of Duron’s Journey is to give light to people who are suffering because of TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). Duron has been on a journey since he was in a serious car accident on August 12, 2018. After seventeen days in ICU, he spent two months at the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He has a TBI and he is paralyzed on his right side. He also has short-term memory loss. But he has been improving all along the journey. His mother, Cheryl, is on the journey with him. When Duron only had 3% brain function, she had to decide whether to “pull the plug” twice. She prayed to God and now Duron is proof that God is still working miracles. Cheryl says that no one can do this journey without God. But, with Jesus! He sits high and he looks low. He is always right on time. He is still working miracles in 2024 and Duron’s Journey proves it.

Duron’s Journey is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to providing support, care and educational resources for caregivers and parents of individuals with TBI, especially in Paris, Kentucky.
